From Fast Abstract Sketch to Table Object
The project started with fast abstract prototyping from stuff found at home - A rice thin, sunflower seed, cross shaped tiles spacer and a string.
The design process aimed to keep the original properties of the first sketch and to make it from materials that will allow it to live on a shelf or a table for a long time.
The bubbly texture of the rice thin was replaced by foamed cement block and the tiles spacer was replaced by a massive red perspex X that functions as a stand.
